Let’s have fun with the Zodiac this year!

We started this journey of discovery, a few years back, by looking at precious and semi-precious gems, then birthstones, then colors, and what they represent in my world of jewelry.

This year we’ve decided to introduce you to Astrology and the Zodiac and their impact on gems and jewelry. Zodiac signs have roots in myth and legend.

Did you know that the origin of the word “zodiac” comes from a Greek word meaning circle of animals? Every zodiac sign has a healing crystal and gemstone associated with it

This month is all about Pisces!

Legend Typically related to the Greek myth of Aphrodite and Eros, who jumped into a river and transformed into fish in order to escape the monster Typhon. They connected themselves with a ribbon so as not to be separated.

Element Water – characterized by empathy and incredible emotional capacity, but only if they maintain strong boundaries and don’t let external emotions overwhelm them.

Crystal: Red jasper – known as the “supreme nurturer,” a rock of support. It helps keep one more grounded on a daily basis, especially helpful to a Pisces who can fluctuate between reality and imagination.

Gemstone: Aquamarine – provides an amazing balancing action which works on body, mind and spirit.
