This year we’ve decided to introduce you to Astrology and the Zodiac and their impact on gems and jewelry. Zodiac signs have roots in myth and legend.

Aries is the leader of the Zodiac…daring, adventurous, and unafraid to venture into unknown territory…the most competitive and demanding of all the zodiac signs.

Legend The constellation was first documented in the 2nd century by Ptolemy, the Greek astronomer. Greek legend has it that Aries, identified with a golden ram, rescued Phrixus and took him to Colchis where he sacrificed the ram to appease the gods. Phrixus, later, in the face of death, was saved by a golden ram with wings that flew him to safety.
